The zinc and steel construction of the 8600 Series spiral gauge makes it suitable for use in hydraulic, lubricating, or fuel oil tanks. They are also suitable for gasoline and diesel fuel tank levels in a variety of stationary equipment, construction and maintenance vehicles such as road sweepers and water spray trucks. The gauge incorporates a strong nickel-plated Alnico magnet. The magnet is capable of driving a standard (Included) or TwinSite sender (also available) that sends an electrical signal to a remote receiver (gauge) and provides a direct, fractional reading. The gauges have a 1 1/2" MNPT tank connection (2" adapter available), and are suitable for tank pressures up to 25 PSIG They are designed for top mounting in tanks up to 36" [914 mm] deep General Specifications* Accuracy depends upon proper gauge sizing.
